Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interaction with Business partners/stakeholders to understand business requirements and applicability of Data Science models into Business requirements
  • Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to value delivery, prototype development and product improvement.
  • Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive and prescriptive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value generation from the data
  • Hypothesis generation and validation for a business problems using Data Science techniques
  • Prepare data for data science problem; Design, Develop and Implement ML/Statistical Models keeping Business problems in mind
  • Conduct complex data analysis and develop reports on results
  • Present written and verbal data analysis findings, to both the project team and business stakeholders
  • Timely delivery of assigned tasks/projects and ensure that delivery is as per Business expectations
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques
  • Inter/Intra team co-ordination and working effectively with team members
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Working experience & In-depth understanding of statistical techniques (supervised - like linear regression, logistic regression, Classification, Decision Trees, SVM etc. and unsupervised - Clustering and Association etc.) & prior experience in solving Business problems using one of the techniques
  • Working knowledge and in-depth experience in generating and validating hypotheses
  • In-depth knowledge and working experience with analytics and statistical software such as R, Python and others to develop AI/ML solutions
  • Working experience in either Big Data Platform or in Cloud (Azure/AWS) to develop Data Science models
  • Problem solving / Critical thinking
  • Good Communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of NLP (NLP Packages, Language Models, Transformer models etc.)
  • Knowledge of No-SQL Databases (Mongo-DB)/ Graph database
  • Understanding of US Healthcare
